Rana is a forthcoming Tamil historical action film to be directed by K. S. Ravikumar, starring Rajinikanth.Co-produced by Ocher Picture Productions and Eros International, the film will feature cinematography by R. Rathnavelu and music by A. R. Rahman. With filming to start in March 2011, the film is expected to be released in 2012, along with dubbed versions in Telugu and Hindi,Rana is Rajinikanth’s upcoming multilingual movie which will see the superstar in triple role The movie directed by KS Ravi Kumar is being made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. This movie Rana will be a period film and is jointly produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Ocher Studio Private Limited and Eros International.

Shruti Haasan opposite Jr. NTR ?

Producer K.S.Ramarao is going to produce a film with Young Tiger Jr. NTR under the direction of Boyapati Srinu.The female lead is likely to star Vogue beauty Shruti Haasan .

Though there were reports that actress Trisha would be the heroine, it is now heard that the makers are considering Shruti Haasan, whose last release was Anaganaga O Dheerudu. The film is expected to go on floors shortly.

The latest buzz is that Shakti Film’s Distribution Rights have been sold for a price of 8.5 crores in Ceded Area and filmmakers are planning for worldwide release on 31st March.

Kajal Agarwal as Gabbar Singh’s lover

According to sources Kajal Agarwal is going to be the female lead in Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming movie Gabbar Singh, which is a remake of Bollywood blockbuster Dabangg. The movie will hit the floors soon.

According to sources Kajal will be playing the role of Rajo, which was played by debutant Sonakshi Sinha in Dabangg. The movie is being made by Pawan Kalyan’s home production house Creative Works. Gabbar Singh is directed by Harish Shankar of Mirapakaya fame.

It is noted that Kajal had earlier created magic with Ram Charan Teja in blockbuster Magadheera. Their combination became talk of the town and they were also supposed to pair in Dharani’s Merupu. But due to clash of dates, the actress walked out of the project. Her on-screen chemistry with Allu Arjun in Arya 2 had also become a huge hit in Tollywood.
